IHCNBT is committed to developing Indian Himalayan Sangha, harmony amongst the different Traditions of Nalanda Buddhism, reviving and strengthening the ancient Indian heritage of Nalanda Buddhist tradition of values of Karuna, Ahimsa and Compassion, developing Monastic education curriculum and transforming the Monasteries as Centres of Learning of 21st century Buddhist and to address the challenges of Buddhist communities -socio -economic & cultural and the relation between Monastic community and Lay people
